The annual NSW Export Awards, delivered by the Export Council of Australia in partnership with the NSW government, have opened for nominations.
The awards are in their 63rd year. This year cover 14 national-level categories and four specific to NSW, with national category winners going on to the Australian Export Awards, to be held on November 26.
“Exporting is not just about selling products overseas; it’s about building relationships, fostering innovation, and contributing to the broader economy,” said Dianne Tipping, Chair of the Export Council of Australia, in a statement on Tuesday.
“The success stories we see each year inspire us all to think bigger and aim higher. I encourage all eligible businesses to seize this opportunity to be recognised for their hard work and to share their journey with the world.”
Investment NSW’s Deputy Secretary, Rebecca McPhee, added that exporters are a critical driver of the state’s economic growth, with $142.5 billion worth of goods and services sold abroad in 2023-24 (17 per cent of Gross State Product.)
“There are thousands of NSW businesses that are flourishing on the global stage, and the NSW Export Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate their success,” said McPhee.
