Nominations open for NT export awards

The Northern Territory government has put out an invitation to nominate for the 30th Chief Ministers NT Export Awards 2023.

The export awards are coordinated by the Chamber of Commerce NT, with support from Austrade and the Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade.

According to a statement from the territory government on Monday, the awards will “recognise the outstanding achievements and success stories of Territory exporters”, with winners progressing as finalists for the Australian Export Awards, which are scheduled to be held in late-November.

This year there are 13 national categories and three territory categories including the NT Exporter of the Year Award. Two new categories for 2023 have been named as “Excellence in the Supply Chain Supporting the Export Industry in the Northern Territory” and “Excellence in International Trade related events/international trade delegations”.

Nominations in the NT Export Awards are open until June 9, with the awards Night to be held in Darwin on October 6.
