Modular relocatable carpark manufacturer PARKD has completed a prefabrication and assembly line for its modular car park systems which allow up to six parking levels to be fabricated offsite.
The facility manufactures PARKD slab modules using Fielders Slimdek structural formwork and PARKD’s Metal Deck Support System.
PARKD Managing Director Peter McUtchen said: “The establishment of PARKD's prefabrication and assembly facility to support our projects and further development has allowed PARKD to protect project profitability and plan construction programmes with greater certainty.
“The coming months will see more of our patented technology exercised and placed proudly on display.”
The listed Western Australian company released its results for Q4 FY24 which showd:
PARKD is also continuing technical advisory for the design and construction of modular car parks for Mineral Resources, St Johns Ambulance WA and Pheonix Motors.
McUtchen said Q4 saw a significant uplift in construction activity at the Audi Centre Myaree and Forward St projects.
He said: “These are both proof-of-concept projects necessary to advance a formal agreement and partnership between PARKD and Fielders.
“They are a validation of our technology and the PARKD system as it comes to life.”
