The Victorian government has opened applications for grants worth between $50,000 and $250,000 under the second round of the Made in Victoria – Manufacturing Growth Program.
Grants are available to companies categorised as SMEs (between 20 and 200 employees) and cover up to a third of project costs.
Projects include installation of new equipment, prototyping, supply chain capability development. (A list of eligibility requirements and other information on the round is available here.)
“Manufacturing is critical to growing our economy and supporting local jobs,” said state industry minister Natalie Hutchins in a statement on Tuesday.
“These grants will help more local businesses to innovate and expand, drive investment, and compete globally.”
Applications close December 19.
