Swisse, Bod release new hemp products

Swisse Wellness and Bod Australia have announced the Australian launch of nine new hemp-based products, the first major result of their partnership announced last July.

The range includes skincare products and soft gel caps containing hemp oils, to be stocked in approximately 2,000 outlets.  

Bod CEO Jo Patterson said the collaboration was a game-changer for the Sydney-based business, and they “anticipate considerable consumer uptake once stock is available for purchase.”

Nick Mann, managing director of Swisse, said that the hemp product rollout was a “strategic move” as the firm responded to shifts in consumer preferences.

“We are preparing our business for the legalisation of CBD in Australia, so we can take advantage of the market with product innovation in partnership with Bod,” he added. 

Bod (ASX: BDA) is a maker of medical cannabis and hemp products. Swisse has been owned by Hong Kong-listed H&H Group since 2015. H&H’s innovation arm owns a stake in Bod.
