Titomic appoints new chairman

Industrial-scale additive manufacturing company Titomic has announced a new chairman,  Dr Andreas Schwer, following the resignation of  Philip Vafiadis from the role last week.

Schwer recently stepped down as inaugural CEO of Saudi Arabian Military Industries, founded in 2017. His resume includes roles as Chairman and President of Rheinmetall International – Rheinmetall AG and 12 years in executive roles in Airbus’s defence, space and helicopter divisions.
“Andreas’ extensive professional experience in the global defence and aerospace sectors facilitates strong opportunities for Titomic to become a dominant player in the USD$4 trillion metals manufacturing industry for a green-tech future,” said Titomic‘s founder and managing director Jeff Lang in a statement.
The appointment also follows the addition to Titomic’s board of Dag Stromme, former Managing Director, Morgan Stanley (London, UK), and Humphrey Nolan, an experienced commercial leader in global industrial and distribution industries.
