Zip Water launches new micro boiling water appliance

Sydney appliance manufacturer Zip Water has launched a new, smaller version of its flagship HydroTap which delivers cold and boiling water on demand in homes and offices.

The Zip Micro (pictured) is designed to fit under almost any bench, and is suited for small workplaces with up to 10 people.

Zip Micro is 37 per cent narrower than the company’s existing models and continues the focus on innovation that founder Michael Crouch used to establish sales in Australia and 70 export markets.

Now owned by Culligan Water, the company opened a new $6 million production line at its Condell Park, Sydney factory in September, doubling potential output.

Zip Micro received a prestigious Good Design Award Gold Accolade in the Product Design Domestic Appliances category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

The newly designed tap features an integrated safety lock and features twist activation with auto and manual fill options.

Zip Micro uses a 0.2 micron filter to deliver pure tasting water.
