DXN gets $1 million contract with Anglo for Capcoal installation

Modular data centre manufacturer DXN has announced a contract worth approximately $1 million with Anglo Coal for a project at the Capcoal complex in central Queensland’s Bowen Basin.

The contract covers development of a standard design fit for purpose at the site, delivery of this, plus the option for DXN to provide annual maintenance for five years.

“We received a design order at the end of last year for this purpose and the design order has now eventuated into the first deployment for AngloAmerican utilising the pre-approved standardised design,” said DXN CEO Shalini Lagrutta in a statement to the ASX on Monday.

“DXN’s team are thrilled to be involved in AngloAmerican’s deployment in the Capcoal mining complex in QLD”

According to DXN, it is Asia Pacific’s only “vertically integrated manufacturer and operator of modular data centres”.

The company designs, engineers and assembles its products at Welshpool in Western Australia. It also operates data centres around Australia.
