Finalists named for 2019 Australian Export Awards

Ninety-four companies have been named as finalists in 13 categories at the 57th Australian Export Awards.

Trade minister Simon Birmingham said that the 94 businesses cumulatively represented 34,000 employees and export revenues worth $7.8 billion.

Finalists include electronics business Redarc and fish processing specialist Clean Seas Australia, both from SA, and virtual reality training startup Flaim Systems of Victoria.

“I hope by sharing their success stories through these awards that they will inspire the thousands of other Australian small businesses out there to take a punt and go global, said Birmingham in a statement.

“Exports create more Australian jobs and further strengthen our economy.

The awards ceremony and winner announcements will be held on December 3.
