Manufacturing News

Applications are open for support payments worth between $1,000 and $10,000 through Manufacturing Skills Australia’s Industry Development Fund.

According to an invitation for nominees on MSA’s website, the funding will help those “seeking support for individual skilling and development that is not supported by any other funding opportunity.”

Nominees can be aged between 15 and 65.

Examples of eligible industries include metal, engineering and boating; aerospace; process manufacturing, including chemicals, hydrocarbons, mineral products, plastics and rubber; and recreational vehicles.

Applicants must submit a short video of between one and two minutes as well as a written paragraph describing their background and career development goals. The best of these will be selected for a second and final round. Applications close on July 1.

Eligibility FAQs can be found here and applications can be made at this link.
