Food processing and packaging solutions business TNA solutions announced the addition of a third manufacturing site in Australia, at Western Sydney’s Wetherill Park, on Monday.
TNA said the expansion aimed to meet growing global demand from the confectionery and nutraceuticals sectors, and is its second confectionery manufacturing site in Sydney.
“With our new Wetherill Park facility, we extend our ability to deliver complete solutions to our global customers efficiently, and with short lead times,” said Thiago Roriz, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Since acquiring NID in 2017, TNA has been updating existing technologies while retaining industry defining standards in reliability in the confectionery arena.
“This added manufacturing capacity ensures that customers worldwide can receive state-of-the-art solutions in a timely manner.”
TNA’s acquisition of equipment supplier NID was described at the time as part of a long-term strategic expansion plan, “which will move the company one step closer to becoming a leading single source supplier to the confectionery industry.”
TNA was established in 1982 and creates and integrates processing and packaging solutions, including kitchen operations, product cleaning and finishing, and case packing. The company has offices in 30 countries and installations in over 120.
