Entries are now open for the Good Design Awards, now in their 63rd year.

Nominations opened this week for the annual design competition, with 12 design disciplines and more than 30 categories recognised.

“Co-designing the future has become a global imperative as a new generation of designers seek to reach across sectors, disciplines and geographies to solve wicked, intractable problems and explore who we could yet become, in the search of the best version of ourselves,” said Dr Jan Owen AM, Patron of Good Design Australia.

“I doubt there has ever been a more exciting time to be a designer with the power to tell stories, change conversations and make the world better day by day.”

This year features a new Design Research category, “to showcase the contribution design research makes in developing innovative and ground-breaking outcomes and to advance the discovery of new knowledge across design disciplines and sectors.”

The deadline for entries is April 30. The awards ceremony is planned for September 17, barring Covid-19 restrictions.

You can nominate and/or find more information here.
