Prefabricated data centre manufacturer and operator DXN has announced a $2 million contract with logistics company DP World Australia to deliver two data centres for Port Botany.

DXN said in an ASX statement on Tuesday that the contract involved design, manufacture, and delivery of the two centres and backup systems, “including full design and engineering, prefabrication, and fit out”, with delivery scheduled for the third quarter of the 2025 calendar year.

It is the first time the company has done business with DP World, and according to DXN further solidifies its position “as a trusted Australian partner” in providing such infrastructure, as well as growing market demand “for resilient, edge-ready deployments” in essential infrastructure environments.

“We are proud to be selected by DP World to deliver this critical infrastructure for their Port Botany facility in New South Wales,” said Shalini Lagrutta, Managing Director and CEO of DXN.

“This project demonstrates our capability to support customers in high demand, operationally sensitive environments with reliable and scalable modular data centre solutions.”
