XTEK Group’s HighCom Armor division has opened a new sales and distribution office in Poland, citing proximity to military and law enforcement customers in Central European and Scandinavian nations.

The group’s CEO, Scott Basham, said it located their ultra-lightweight body armour and advanced “rifle rated” helmet technology “squarely in the strategic theatre of support operations” for Ukraine, where many of its products had ended up in the last year.

“Our new office in Poland, similarly, also provides us with excellent access to all of those many Central European and Scandinavian countries that are rapidly replenishing and increasing their holdings of body armour and ballistic helmets for their mainstream military, national guard, and reserve forces, in case the war in Ukraine spreads more widely in the new year.”

The company added that it was on track to exceed revenues of $82 million this year.

XTEK Group is made up of  XTEK Ltd and HighCom, which XTEK acquired in 2019, and operates in two separate divisions: ballistics and technology. The former is based on the produces body armour, helmets, and composite armour structures, and has a factory in Columbus, Ohio.
